Tonight there aren’t any umbrella’s in sight, in fact it’s a perfect evening to listen to some live music in one’s neighbourhood.
Lucky for Queen Elizabeth and her family that Gary Barlow and friends have put on a fantastic Diamond Jubilee Concert just for them (and the thousands of people in London) this evening.
The Queens Diamond Jubilee concert is well under way and so far we’ve seen performers including; Cliff Richard, Jessie J, Grace Jones (!), Gary Barlow & Cheryl Cole, JLS, Jules Holland, Alfie Boe, Annie Lennox and some impressive wings and many more to come.
In the crowd, we’ve spied the younger members of the Royal Family having a great time singing along. William, Kate, Prince Harry, Zara Tindall, Beatrice and Eugenie are all in the crowd along with some of the older Royals. It’s just a shame that Prince Phillip is unwell and missing it.
The concert is being shown live to audiences around the World and can be seen live on BBC One and is a mix of young and old, classical and modern performances.
The Jubilee Concert will finish at 10:45 UK time and will finish with a firework display above Buckingham Palace.
