The Royal Mint have launched a commemorative coin set to mark the year 2012 and to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics.
The coin set includes the Royal Mint’s official UK 5 commemorative coin created for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The £5 crown features two new portraits of The Queen – a contemporary image of Her Majesty on the front, and a younger image of the monarch on the reverse.
Also included in the Royal Mint set is a £2 commemorative coin issued to celebrate the birth of Charles Dickens, and coins in current circulation from 1p to £2.
